Located in Katanga province in the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Tenke Fungurume Mine holds one of the largest copper and cobalt resources in the world. The deposit, spread over 1,500 square kilometers, has been in operation since 2009 and is now owned by CMOC International.
Hydro-Ressources was given the mandate to conduct Profile Tracer Tests (PTT) on the entire property in the diamon drill exploration holes with the aim of sketching a hydrogeological profile of the region. The first step is to demonstrate the performance of the PTTs, then train the local workers in order to set up autonomy for data collection. Hydro-Ressources remains in charge of analysis and support.
